Agnes M. Train, 90, of Lindsborg, Kan., died Thursday, Sept. 26, 1996, at Augusta Medical Complex Long Term Care Center Unit in Augusta, Kan.
She was born Aug. 31, 1906, in Bridgeport, Kan., daughter of Peter and Emma Peterson Almquist. She and George L. Train were married Aug. 5, 1936, in Lindsborg. He died May 1, 1993.
Train lived in Lindsborg most of her life, and had been a school teacher. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Rural League, and Lindsborg Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Carl Train of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Donna Ruple of Augusta; a brother, Clarence Almquist of Salina, Kan.; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Hays Funeral Home in Lindsborg from 2-9 p.m. Sunday.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethany Church, with the Rev. Herbert Johnson Jr. officiating. Private burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at Lindsborg.
