AGNES GOHN

JACKSON - Agnes Gohn died Thursday, June 20, 1991 at the Lakeview Boarding Home on Route 2, Jackson. She was 76.

She was born Dec. 18, 1914 near Neely's Landing, the daughter of Robert B. and Maggie J. Miller Schenimann.

She married Lester Gohn Sept. 6, 1933. He died Dec. 7, 1988.

Surviving are sons Leon Gohn of Alma, Mich.; Lyman Gohn of Cape Girardeau; and Layton Gohn of Jackson. One brother, Joe Schenimann, of Route 4, Jackson, also survives, as do eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A son, two brothers, four sisters, and one granddaughter preceded her in death.

Gohn lived on a farm on Route 4 at Jackson for 32 years. For the past two years she has lived at the boarding home.

She was a lifelong member of the Wesley United Methodist Church at Fruitland and a member of the Live and Learn Extension Club for over 50 years.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Wayne Koehler and the Rev. Dave Conley will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
