CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Agnes Noland Collier, 87, of Charleston died at 10:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at Charleston Manor.
She was born March 27, 1918, in Charleston, daughter of Garland and Mable Drane Noland. She had lived in Charleston her entire life, where as a member of First Baptist Church she sang in the junior choir directed by her mother, and for over 50 years sang in the adult choir. She was co-owner and operator of Charleston Flower Shop until her retirement in 1983.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Charlene Collier of Memphis, Tenn.; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Bob Coon of Charleston; five grandsons, Bob Coon Jr., John Coon, Gary Coon, Tom Coon and the Rev. David Coon; six great-grandchildren; a nephew; and a niece.
In addition to her parents, a brother, Garland Noland Jr., preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday until the funeral hour at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Charleston. The Rev. Michael Brewer, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in IOOF Cemetery, with services under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
