Agnes Atchison, 98, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1992, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Dec. 23, 1893, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Richard and Mary Vogt Kight. She married Clarence Atchison on June 14, 1912, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1964...

Agnes Atchison, 98, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1992, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Dec. 23, 1893, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Richard and Mary Vogt Kight.

She married Clarence Atchison on June 14, 1912, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1964.

She was a member of the Maple Avenue Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, LaVerne Ellis of Cape Girardeau and Dorothy Young of Dexter; 18 grandchildren; several great and great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a brother and two sisters.

Service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. with the Rev. Allen Reasons officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home between 4 and 8 p.m. today.
