PERRYVILLE -- Adolph W. Baer, 81, of Perryville, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 1996, at the Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born July 8, 1915, in Biehle, son of Joseph and Anna Meyer Baer. He married Trula Schnurbusch on Oct. 12, 1940.
He was self-employed in the trucking business and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, James and Edward Baer, both of Perryville, and William Baer of St. Louis; a daughter, Janet L. Baer Pingel of Perryville; a sister, Bertha Buerck of Perryville; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister.
He will rest in state at Young & Sons Funeral Chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. today, with a parish wake service at 7, and from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
