FROHNA, Mo. -- Adelma A. Mueller, 100, formerly of Frohna, died July 17, 2016, at Bethesda Southgate in St. Louis.
She was born June 13, 1916, in Farrar, Missouri, daughter of Ernst and Anna (Lohmann) Miesner. She and Gilbert A. Mueller were married Nov. 3, 1945. He preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1985.
She had done domestic work and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Altenburg, Missouri, VFW Post 4282 Auxiliary and American Legion Post 133 Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Ralph Truemper, and daughter-in-law, Rita Mueller, all of St. Louis; five grandchildren, Eric (Deanna) Truemper, Steven (Cynthia) Truemper, Bryan (Christina) Truemper, Michele (Brian) Noser and Shawn (fiance Ivana) Mueller; and eight great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Morgan, Kristin, Lauren, Behren and Maia Truemper and Braden and Addison Noser.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Edward Mueller; four brothers, Edmund, Alfred, Theodore and Raymond Miesner; and two sisters, Erna Miesner and Frieda Fritsche.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg. She then will be taken to Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg for a funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Steven Dressler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, Green Park Lutheran School in St. Louis, the Lutheran Heritage Center or Bethesda Hospice in St. Louis.
