MARQUAND, Mo. -- Adell Catherine Tallent, 84, of Marquand passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 4, 1927, in Patton, Mo., daughter of Harley and Grace McGraw Statler. She and Danny C. Tallent were married March 2, 1946.
Mrs. Tallent was a member of Patton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Dan of Marquand; three sons, Danny (Rose) Tallent of Patton, Ken (Phyllis) Tallent of Omaha, Neb., the Rev. Rocky (Becky) Tallent of Patton; a daughter, Carol (Mike) Cochran of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Pat Webb and Dorothy Lincoln of Jackson, and Rusty Cobb of Diamond Head, Miss.
Also eight grandchildren, Angie Menz, Corey (Becky) Menz, Tim (Beth) Tallent, Kristin Tallent, Greg (Lindsey) Tallent, Casey Tallent, Brandon (Heather) Tallent, Ben (Bree) Tallent; seven great-grandchildren, Madison Gaddis, Hunter, Shelby, Carter, Paige, Eli and Van Tallent.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Don Statler; and a sister, Grace Welker.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Sara Hamilton and the Rev. Bud Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery near Marquand.
