ADAM MCGEE

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Adam Lynn McGee, 11, of Sikeston died Monday, April 16, 2001, at his home of natural causes.

He was born March 27, 1990, in Sikeston, son of Gary Lee and Kathie Lynne Evans McGee.

McGee was a fifth-grade student at Kelly School in Benton, Mo. He participated in Sikeston Youth Bowling League, Sikeston Swim Team and Kelly Junior Hawks basketball team. He played Little League baseball at New Hamburg, Mo., and Sikeston YMCA Church League basketball.

He was a member of Miner Baptist Church, sang in the Children's Choir and was a puppeteer.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Ryan McGee; paternal grandmother, Halene McGee; and maternal grandparents, Tommy and Glenda Evans, all of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mitchell Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
