PERRYVILLE -- Adam Joseph Klobe, 80, of Perryville, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at Perry County Hospital.
He was born July 24, 1912, at Crosstown, son of William and Catherine Adams Klobe. He and Aurelia Mary DePauw were married Aug. 22, 1942. She died Aug. 9, 1979.
Klobe was retired from Missouri State Highway Department. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church, American Legion Post 133, and was a Third Degree Knight in Council 1263. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Klobe of Perryville; a daughter, Charlene Eddleman of Perryville, and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral mass will be at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church. The Revs. Edward Wilson and Richard Buchheit will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 2-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-11 a.m. Thursday. The parish and Knights of Columbus wake will be at 7 tonight, with the American Legion wake at 7:15.
