Ada Dell Mansker, 70, of St. Cloud, Fla., died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at the Tandem Health Center in Kissimmee, Fla.
She was born April 5, 1932, at Crump, Mo., daughter of George Elbert and Ruby Bell Proffer.
She worked as cheese shop manager for Goodings Supermarkets in Orlando, Fla.
She married Alfred F. Mansker on June 24, 1960, at Cape Girardeau. They moved to Pensacola, Fla., in 1968. He died on July 20, 1992.
She was a Sunday school class member at First Baptist Church in Orlando, Fla.
Survivors include three daughters, Sherri Mansker of St. Cloud, Millie Hall of Winter Park, Fla., and Connie Morris of Kissimmee, Fla.; a brother, Clann Proffer of Jackson, Mo.; a sister, Juanita Endert of Calimesa, Calif.; six grandchildren, Kathryn Evans, Kimberly Morris, Matthew Morris, John Huffman VI, Christine Huffman and Brandon Hall; and a great-grandchild, Layton Grace Evans.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents ; a son, Curtis Mansker; and two sisters, Ida Proffer (her twin) and Estel Rhodes.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
The Rev. Clifton Trentham will officiate. Burial will be in Proffer Cemetery at Crump.
