ORAN -- Abbie Bugg, 89, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., died Monday, Oct. 11, 1993, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born Feb. 24, 1904, in Oran, daughter of William and Elizabeth Boutwell. She married Maurice A. Bugg, who died Jan. 20, 1983. Bugg attended Southeast Missouri State University, and taught school several years. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Methodist Church here. Bugg was a member of Oak Ridge Senior Center, AARP, and Oak Ridge Woman's Club, all in Tennessee...

She was born Feb. 24, 1904, in Oran, daughter of William and Elizabeth Boutwell. She married Maurice A. Bugg, who died Jan. 20, 1983.

Bugg attended Southeast Missouri State University, and taught school several years. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Methodist Church here. Bugg was a member of Oak Ridge Senior Center, AARP, and Oak Ridge Woman's Club, all in Tennessee.

Survivors include a son, William Bugg of Knoxville, Tenn.; a daughter, Peggy Sanders of London, Ontario, Canada; a sister, Mary Witt of Stillwater, Okla.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at Weatherford Mortuary in Oak Ridge, with the Rev. Don Bullock officiating. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the mortuary from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday.
