Aaron Lee Sadler, 28, of Jackson died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born July 13, 1983, in Cape Girardeau, to Albert and Cindy Smith Sadler. Aaron Lee Sadler, 28, of Jackson died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at his home after a battle with cancer.

He was born July 13, 1983, in Cape Girardeau, to Albert and Cindy Smith Sadler.

He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ in Jackson, where he played the piano and was a youth leader. He was a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School and a 2011 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a master's degree in history.

Aaron loved history and wanted to be a history teacher. He worked 10 years at Walmart. He loved Papa John's Pizza.

Survivors include his mother and father; two brothers, Timothy Sadler (Stephanie) of Jackson, Steven Sadler of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Rachel Sadler of Jackson; grandparents, Delbert "Papa" Mueller, Jackie "Gackie" Mueller, Viola Sadler and Dean and Joyce Smith; five nieces, Abigail, Makayla, Hannah, Tessa and Nicole; and two nephews, Dylan and Tyler.

He was preceded in death by two grandparents, Leroy Sadler and Sharon Smith.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Mueller and the Rev. Delbert Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
