Aaron Pearson

COBDEN, Ill. -- Aaron M. Pearson, 15, of Cobden died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, in an automobile accident on Lick Creek Road in Union County, Ill.

He was born July 7, 1988, in Carbondale, Ill., son of Kevin Cawthon and Michele R. Pearson.

Pearson was a student at Cobden Junior High School.

Survivors include his mother of Cobden; his father of Anna, Ill.; two brothers, Jacob Vanausdoll of Goreville, Ill., Joshua Sargent of St. Charles, Mo.; a sister, Kathy Cawthon of Skokie, Ill.; maternal grandparents, Patty Westbrooks of Jonesboro, Ill.; and Larry and Brenda Pearson of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; and stepmother, Debra Vanausdoll of Goreville.

Friends may call at Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Scott Harner officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
