PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for A. Clyde Phillips of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Statler will officiate, assisted by the Rev. S.S. Borum. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until time of service.
Phillips, 93 years old, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 1991, at Perry County Hospital.
He was born Aug. 2, 1897, in Perry County, son of James and Emma Harmon Phillips. He and the former Anne Ratcliff were married Sept. 7, 1918. She died in 1971.
Phillips was a retired sheet metal worker, and member of the United Methodist Church in Perryville.
Survivors include a son, Dale Phillips of Perryville; a daughter, Dorris Bockman of Perryville; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters, a grandchild and four great-grandchildren.
