ORAN -- A. "Buck" Bollinger, 66, of Oran, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1992, at his home. He was born April 1, 1926, at Painton, son of Louie Jesse and Florence Elizabeth Lewis Bollinger. He and Winifred Gray were married Nov. 17, 1942. Bollinger was operator of Texas Eastern Pipeline here 37 years, was a farmer and bonded cattle buyer. He served with the U.S. Army in Japan during World War II...

ORAN -- A. "Buck" Bollinger, 66, of Oran, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1992, at his home.

He was born April 1, 1926, at Painton, son of Louie Jesse and Florence Elizabeth Lewis Bollinger. He and Winifred Gray were married Nov. 17, 1942.

Bollinger was operator of Texas Eastern Pipeline here 37 years, was a farmer and bonded cattle buyer. He served with the U.S. Army in Japan during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Perry and Bradley Bollinger of Oran; three brothers, Jim Bollinger of Sikeston, Benny Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, Buster Bollinger of Oran; six sisters, Onetta Wipfler of Oak Ridge, Martha Rodgers of Morley, Berniece Trost of Cape Girardeau, Rita Friga of Chaffee, Shirley Wilson of Greenville, Frances Eftink of Springfield, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Jack Bishop will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Garden near Morley.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
