CAPE GIRARDEAU - Great food, entertainment and a charitable cause will all be part of the second annual Zonta Club "Dinner by Invitation" fund-raising event Sunday. It will be held at Broussard's Cajun Cuisine, 120 N. Main.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for one of two seatings: 4 p.m.-7 p.m., or 7:30 p.m.-10 p.m.
The ticket price of $12.50 per person includes a choice of entree from a select menu and a soft drink. Appetizers and alcoholic beverages will be available for an additional price. Gratuities are welcome and all proceeds will be used to benefit local charities.
There are 120 tickets available per shift. To reserve seating or purchase tickets, contact Joyce Kuntze in advance at Carver's Floral, 100 S. Sprigg, 335-3238.
Zonta Club of the Cape Girardeau Area is part of an international service organization made up of executives and professionals. The 1990-91 service project budget is almost $9,500 locally and is donated to a series of projects, including scholarships to Southeast Missouri State University, daffodils planted at the intersection of Broadway and Kingshighway as part of Vision 2000, teddy bears for the Police Department to use with children, and others.
