The millennium bug and what it means to both businesses and individuals will be the topic for "Y2K Community Conversation: Are We Ready?" to be presented 6-8 p.m. Wednesday by Southeast Missouri Hospital's Generations Family Resource Center. The free program will be held in the hospital's Harrison Room.

Representatives from investment companies, banks, local and state governments will discuss Y2K issues, including Y2K preparedness at the state and local level, as well as potential concenrs about wht may happen in individual homes.

This Y2K meeting is one of many that will take place across the country this year as part of the President's Council on Year 2000 Conversion.
