Not-for-profit agencies can get tips on grant writing at a workshop titled "Grant Seeking for Busy Nonprofits" to be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the United Way of Southeast Missouri.
The workshop will cover current trends in federal and private sector funding, how to position a not-for-profit agency for successful grant seeking and how to use grant search databases. Teresa Wilke, director of grant development at Southeast Missouri State University, is conducting the workshop as a fundraiser for Heart for Africa.
