WORK STARTS ON NURSING HOME

The 16,500-square-foot structure will house Ratliff Nursing Home and Ratliff Accounting and Tax Service. The nursing home will be a 46-bed facility.

The building will be constructed on the site of the nursing home the Ratliffs currently operate. Ratliff said that when the building is completed, hopefully in about nine months, the older nursing home will be demolished to make way for a parking lot.
Architect for the building is Charles J. Herbst. The contractor is Sides Construction Co. of Jackson.
