The work of St. Charles artist Mary Helen Potchen will be featured during August at Gallery 100.
A reception for the artist will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Gallery, which is located at 100 Broadway.
Potchen, a native of Michigan, specializes in landscapes with architecture, still-lifes and florals.
She also does woodcuts and historical architecture in pen and ink. Currently she is working on a series of buildings from St. Mary's, Ga.
Potchen has lived in Missouri for 23 years, and has an art education degree from Michigan State University, and a master's degree from Northeast Missouri state University.
This year, her works have won the first place professional watercolor award at the Jewish Community Center Association Senior Adult Show in St. Louis, and first place and honorable mention awards at the East Gateway Show in St. Louis.
Regular gallery hours are 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
