WOMEN'S EVENT SET FOR FEB. 20

"With Every Beat of Your Heart" is the topic of the February Woman to Woman luncheon to be held Feb. 20 in conference rooms A and B at St. Francis Medical Center.

Dr. Bridget Ostrow of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Association in Cape Girardeau will be the featured speaker.

Ostrow will emphasize that heart disease is not just a man's disease; it is a leading cause of death in American women over age 50 and a major cause of death in women ages 35-49. She will discuss ways to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Woman to Woman luncheons are sponsored by the St. Francis Education Department and the medical center's Womancare program.
