WOMANCARE AWARD NOMINATIONS SOUGHT

Womancare at St. Francis Medical Center is seeking nominations for the 1993 Womancare Award to be presented later this year at the seventh annual Womancare Conference.

The conference is scheduled Nov. 13 in Cape Girardeau's Holiday Inn Convention Center.

Clubs, organizations and individuals are invited to submit the names of women from throughout the region who have excelled in business, homemaking, arts, sciences, politics or other areas.

This will be the fifth year that the award has been presented during the Womencare Conference.

Past recipients have included astronaut Linda Godwin, mezzo-soprano opera singer Judith Farris, Cape Girardeau businesswoman Judy Wilferth and retired Southeast Missourian librarian Judy Crow.
