"Osteoporosis: What Every Woman Should Know" is the topic of the February Woman to Woman luncheon.
The meeting will be held at noon next Thursday in Conference Rooms A and B of the St. Francis Medical Center Health and Education Centre.
Osteoporosis is a painful and disfiguring disease that afflicts many women who lack adequate bone density. The featured speaker, Dr. Philip W. Taylor, will discuss both diagnosis and treatment of diseases while emphasizing the importance of prevention.
The Women to Women luncheons are sponsored by the St. Francis Education Department and the Medical Center's Womancare program.
All Woman to Woman programs have a $5 registration fee, which covers the meal. To register, or for more information, call the Education Department, 339-6107.
The upcoming Woman to Woman program on March 18, entitled, "Green Thumb Therapy," will be presented by Debbie Naeter.
