Mrs. K has spend the past 20 years caring for her elderly mother. Last month, her mother entered a nursing home because Mrs. K no longer was able to care for her. She can barely care for herself.
Mrs. K is feeling particularly lonely this Christmas. In the past she has decorated her home to cheer up her mother. Now she doesn't see the point. Mrs. K could use a holiday morale boost.
She has diabetes and as a result has ulcerated feet and legs. She is also wheelchair bound. She lives in an older, poorly insulated home and has very limited income. Her companions are two dogs and two cats.
With the pets comes an infestation of fleas. Mrs. K would appreciate a gift certificate or donation to pay for professional extermination.
Mrs. K also needs new cotton house dresses, and prefers a sleeveless, pull-over style. She can't fasten buttons or zippers. She wears a size 46-48 plus. She also needs new bed sheets, twin size, and new bath and face towels.
On her limited income, paying bills is a challenge. A gift certificate for groceries would be appreciated. She is on a diabetic diet. She wears Depends, extra-large briefs and uses Eucerine medicated cream lotion. Both these items are expensive. She would also appreciate bags of dry dog or cat food for her pets.
Mrs. K could also use assistance with her utility bill. Paying it is always a struggle.
To perk up Mrs. K's Christmas, she would enjoy a small holiday decoration or a toy for the dogs and cats.
