Woman killed in Thursday accident
MATTHEWS, Mo. -- A Wyatt, Missouri, woman was fatally injured Thursday in a one-vehicle accident 2 1/2 miles east of Matthews. The accident occurred at 9:05 a.m. as Denise C. Fisher, 42, was traveling east on Highway 80, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Her vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of the road, overturned and she was thrown from the vehicle...

MATTHEWS, Mo. -- A Wyatt, Missouri, woman was fatally injured Thursday in a one-vehicle accident 2 1/2 miles east of Matthews.
The accident occurred at 9:05 a.m. as Denise C. Fisher, 42, was traveling east on Highway 80, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Her vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of the road, overturned and she was thrown from the vehicle.

Fisher was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:50 a.m. by New Madrid County Coroner George DeLisle.
