Woman injured in Sunday accident
A Jackson woman received moderate injuries following a two-car accident Sunday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 2003 Toyota driven by Linda M. Ronsick, 49, was slowing to make a right turn when it was struck in the rear by the 2001 Chevrolet driven by Mattie J. Wilhite, 19, of Old Appleton. Ronsick was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Wilhite was not injured. Both were wearing seat belts.
