LARKSPUR, Colo. -- A man faces theft and assault charges after authorities say he crashed a jousting performance at the Colorado Renaissance Festival and tried to steal a sword. Steve Chapman said a woman in a wench costume chased down and held the would-be thief in a headlock until Douglas County sheriff's deputies arrived. Sheriff's office spokeswoman Deborah Sherman said 22-year-old Connor Ward appeared to have been drunk when he grabbed the sword.
