The advisory went into effect at noon and lasts until 6 a.m. Tuesday. A mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is possible this afternoon and overnight in parts of northern Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois.
A light glaze of ice and up to an inch of snow are expected. Travel could be hazardous tonight.
