William Martin of Paducah, Ky., was the winner of a $1,000 shopping spree, sponsored by Cutmart, Missouri Lottery and Oldies 100.7 Radio.

Participants in the five-week promotion at the 22 Cutmart stores filled out a Christmas Wish List.

"We selected a finalist each week," said Laura Younghouse, executive vice president of Cutmart. "The winner was selected from the five finalists."

The winner could make purchases with any merchant in the Cape Girardeau and Jackson area, noted Younghouse. Martin was accompanied on the shopping spree by his three-year-old son, Chad Martin.

Lisa Pruett of Fredericktown was the winner of a $500 shopping spree at West Park Mall.

Participants in the shopping spree contest were required to fill out a Christmas "Wish List."

The promotion was sponsored by West Park Mall and K103-KZIM Radio.

Pruett received shopping spree gift certificates good at any mall store.

Delbert Coburn of Cape Girardeau and Clay Quatmann of Jackson were recent winners of Huffy Mountain Bikes in a national promotion sponsored by Huffy Bike and True Value Hardware stores.

Coburn was winner of the bike at the True Value Hardware store located in Town Plaza at Cape Girardeau, and Quatmann was winner at the Jackson store, located at 113 W. Main.
