Wills Insurance started on a farm, moved into town as it grew

Gene Wills Insurance was established in the mid-1960s and operated from Wills' farm in Millersville in the early days.

Initially the agency sold mainly farm and rural residential fire and wind policies. Later auto insurance was added to the agency's offerings.

In the early 1970s Gene and Ann Wills moved the agency from their home to Jackson and increased their product lines of insurance. In 1983 their son, Alan Wills, joined the company.

Today Gene Wills Insurance Agency provides a variety of auto, home, commercial, farm, life and health products and services to residents of Southeast Missouri.

Gene and Ann Wills have also been very supportive of the area serving on a number of boards and civic organizations. Gene Wills Insurance is located at 612 West Main in Jackson and can be reached at 243-1334 or 243-4243.
