Steve Moore, a Missouri Department of Conservation agent, will discuss "Wildlife in the Back Yard" during Senior Citizens Activity Day at West Park Mall Wednesday.
Moore, an agent with the DOC for nine years, will be guest speaker at the Wednesday program, which starts at 8:30 a.m. with a free continental breakfast.
The program will include a slide presentation of native wildlife which can be attracted to residential areas with feedings and plantings.
Senior Citizens Activity Day is held the second Wednesday of each month in front of West Park 4 Cine at Venture Court in the mall. The event is sponsored by mall merchants, St. Francis Medical Center, Southeast Missouri Hospital, and Schnucks, and is open to area seniors.
Free blood-pressure screenings will be provided Wednesday by Southeast Missouri Hospital's Fitness & Wellness Center.
