Wild Card Collectibles has opened in West Park Mall.
"We're located next to JCPenney," said Harry Guth, a partner in the new business.
Guth, of Perryville, and his son-in-law, Dr. Michael Nickell of Joplin, are partners.
"I'll be managing the operation," said Guth, who was previously engaged in the newspaper business.
Guth, a native of Perryville, was owner of the weekly Perry County Republic a number of years. Guth also owned a printing shop at Perryville.
The store offers all types of cards.
"We have baseball and other sports cards and non-sports cards," said Guth. "We also have comic books, sports posters and other sports memorabilia."
The store will maintain mall hours 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and Sunday afternoons.
