Southeast Missouri State University has announced the hiring of Karen Wicks as director of development-major gifts.
Wicks previously served as director of development at the University of Missouri-St. Louis for more than three years. Prior to her job at UMSL, she worked for a year as director of development at the Pediatric Research Institute in St. Louis.
Wicks was employed at Southeast from 1989 to 1994, serving as manager of development and alumni services for almost two years and serving as an admissions counselor for four years.
She is a graduate of Southeast, with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master's degree in administration.
