WHOLESALE TIRE FIRM OPENS HERE; SERVES CUSTOMERS IN FOUR-STATE AREA

1st Tire and Wheel Inc., a wholesale tire operation, recently opened at 99 S. Louisiana.

Edwin J. "Butch" Urhahn, who has more than 31 years experience in the tire industry, is president of the new corporation.

"We service accounts in Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky, and Northeast Arkansas," said Urhahn. "We deal in agriculture, truck, and passenger tires."

The company offers Uniroyal, Falls, Laramie and Firestone tires.

"We also have access to other brands such as Bridgestone, Michelin, General and others," said Urhahn.

The firm employs 10 people on a full-time basis.
