WHO WON?: PERRYVILLE STORE SELLS LOTTO WINNER

PERRYVILLE -- Someone is $2.3 million richer.

Susan Yamnitz, manager of the Express Lane convenience store on Highway 61 in Perryville, would like to know who.

Yamnitz's store sold the only winning Missouri Lotto ticket Saturday. On Monday, there was a festive atmosphere at the convenience store.

"We have our banners up and our balloons," she said. Store employees were even armed with confetti. "We have had it sitting in the drawer for three years now."

Store employees spent the day asking customers, who stopped by, if they had checked their lottery numbers. But as of Monday night, no one had come forward to claim the prize.

Yamnitz said the convenience store stands to receive $23,000 for selling the winning ticket, an amount equal to 1 percent of the prize. The winning Missouri Lotto numbers drawn Saturday were 16-17-19-23-26-32.
