Winners from several categories were chosen Sunday at the River Heritage Quilt Show, conducted at Centenary United Methodist Church.
Mary Belle Dohogne of Cape Girardeau took Best of Show honors while Dorothy Wibbenmeyer of Perryville won Viewers Choice.
In the pieced category, Dohogne took first, Jeanette Mastin of Scott City was second and Linda Inavnit of Macedonia, Ill., third.
In applique, Wibbenmeyer took first, Linda Woodard of Marion, Ill., second and Mary K. Reed of Jonesboro, Ill., third.
In group quilts, Velda Keister of Piedmont took first, Betty Murray of Cape Girardeau second and Carla Aldridge of Poplar Bluff third.
All the winners in miniatures were from Cape Girardeau. Bambi Robinson won first, Jane Stodghill second and Karen Gay third.
In wall hangings, Robin Haller of Carbondale, Ill., took first, Nancy Camden of Salem, Ill., took second and Reed took third.
Roses were the theme for a special competition this year. In the theme category, Woodard took first, Nancy Ross of Cape Girardeau second and Judy Robinson of Cape Girardeau third.
