Warrant issued on Jackson home- invasion suspect

An arrest warrant has been issued for a man police believe was involved in a Jackson home-invasion robbery last week.

Evan Tillman, 23, of Jackson has been charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, one count of first-degree burglary and one count of armed criminal action. Tillman's bond has been set at $150,000 cash or surety, with the stipulation he may not possess any firearms, knives or other weapons, online court records show.

The robbery was reported Wednesday at an apartment complex on Old Toll Road. Residents said they were confronted by three men who displayed a weapon and stole items. The victims also said they were physically assaulted during the robbery.

The suspects fled the scene, taking a car belonging to one of the victims. The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department found the vehicle, occupied by two of the men, one of whom fled on foot.

In addition to Tillman, Tyler W. Glydewell, 20, and Nicholas Rodgers, 19, both of Jackson, have been charged in the robbery.

Glydewell faces three counts of first-degree robbery, one count of armed criminal action, one count of first-degree burglary, tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. Rodgers faces three counts of first-degree robbery and one count each of armed criminal action and first-degree burglary.

Tillman is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous. Residents with information on Tillman or his whereabouts may call Jackson police at 243-3568.
