WARDELL, Mo. -- A 48-year-old Wardell man is facing several charges after a live grenade and bomb making materials were reportedly found in his home.
According to Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell, Harold Kentner has been charged by the Pemiscot County prosecuting attorney's office with two counts of unlawful possession, transport, manufacture, repair or sale of an illegal weapon, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm and one count resisting or interfering with an arrest for a felony.
Greenwell said the charges stem from an early Saturday morning call of an intoxicated subject causing a disturbance. When deputies arrived, Kentner began resisting, and eventually, according to Greenwell, deputies obtained information that Kentner was in possession of bomb-making material and a grenade inside his residence.
Deputies subdued Kentner to make an arrest. He is being held at the Pemiscot County Justice Center.
