Walk/run in June to benefit Jacque Waller family

A walk/run to benefit the family of Jacque Waller is set to mark the one-year anniversary of her disappearance.

The Jacque Waller 5K Walk/Run and 1 Mile Family Walk will take place June 2 at Shawnee Park. Proceeds will be donated to the Jacque Waller Family Fund at US Bank, which provides financial help to Jacque's sister and brother-in-law, who have custody of Waller's triplets. Waller was last seen June 1.

The 5K run will begin at 8:15 a.m., the 5K walk at 8:30 a.m. and the one-mile walk at 9 a.m. at the Shawnee Park concession stand. People who register before May 2 will receive a T-shirt. Registration will stay open until the time of the race. To register, visit jacquewaller5k.com.
