VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE

The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 5 general election is 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The voter registration office at 401 Independence will be open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. The Cape Girardeau Public Library will register voters today from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Ten members of the American Legion Auxiliary will help with registrations at the library.

Both the registration office and the library will have forms for changes of address and name.
