Training will be held Wednesday for the Tri-State Therapeutic Horsemanship program.
Volunteers are needed to hold disabled children on horses known as "side walking" and to lead horses. No previous experience with horses is required.
Individuals must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer. Training will be held at 6 p.m. at Crass Arena outside Jackson.
Leader training will be held Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. Attendance at the side walking training is required prior to the leader training.
The program will begin working with riders on Aug. 19 at 2:30 p.m. For more information or to register for the program, call 651-6901.
