Ann Swanson, manager of Gulliver's Travel Agency at Cape Girardeau, recently returned from a three-week tour of London, England, Sofia, Bulgaria and Istanbul, Turkey.
She was accompanied by her husband, Marvin Swanson, who is director of the International Center at Southeast Missouri State University.
While in London, Mrs. Swanson visited numerous historic sites and museums. Excursions in Sofia included a visit to a 10th century monastery, and in Istanbul, the swans visited the Dolmabahce Palace and Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, a church turned mosque and now a museum.
