VICTIM OF FATAL ACCIDENT IDENTIFIED AS FESTUS WOMAN

BIEHLE, Mo. -- Jamin Recar, 19, of Festus, Mo., was killed Friday night in a one-car accident on I-55 at the 115 mile marker.

The fatality was reported in Saturday's Southeast Missourian, but the victim's name was not released until next of kin were notified.

The accident occurred at 6:36 p.m. in the southbound lane of I-55. Recar drove into the median between two bridges, the car became airborne and struck an embankment head-on, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
