The Southeast District of the Veterans of Foreign Wars has elected new officers.
They are James C. Westbrook, commander; George W. Holder, senior vice commander; R.C. Webb, junior vice commander; Glenn Davis, quartermaster; and Sam Smithson, adjutant.
The officers were elected at a meeting held in Doniphan.
The Missouri Department of the VFW recently held a leadership conference in Columbia. Westbrook, Holder and Clarence Daugherty, deputy chief of staff, attended the conference.
The southeast district includes Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Wayne, Stoddard, Scott, Mississippi, Ripley, Butler, Dunklin and New Madrid counties.
