Majhon Phillips, 2000 Miss Pre-Teen Missouri will be hosting and entertaining throughout the evening at Trisha's Bed & Breakfast, Tea Room, and Gifts in Jackson, Valentine's Day.

The Phillips and the Wischmanns have been friends for years and have done joint business options previously.

"Aleda is so (creative, not only with hair design at the Style Stop, but her style shows are innovative and adventurous," said Trisha Wishman, co-owner. "It's only natural that her daughter is so vivacious and talented. But the thing that really sets Majhon apart is her spirituality. Her generosity is astounding. How many kids do you know that started donating their birthday gifts to the less fortunate at 11 years old?"

That is why Wischmann came up with the idea of featuring Phillips; all gratuities will be given to her who in turn will divide them among several charities. The bed and breakfast will match the same amount to be given to charity.

A seven-course dinner will be elegantly served in three dining rooms. Two seatings will be offered, one at 6 p.m. and one at 8 p.m. Phillips will host and entertain alternately throughout the evening, with Ashley Wischmann, who was her first piano instructor. Ashley, 18-year-old son of Trisha and Gus Wischmann, grew up in the bed and breakfast, serving and entertaining.

"The evening should prove to be most pleasant," Wishmann said, "and the public is encouraged to support our young people who are working hard for others in the community."
