The next meeting of the Southeast Missouri Pachyderm Club will focus on veterans' issues.

Retired Marine Corps sergeant Tony Laforest will speak on the Veterans Affairs disability process and navigating the VA system.

The group gathers to eat at 6 p.m. and will hold a brief business meeting at 6:45 p.m. today, immediately followed by the program at 7 p.m. at Dexter Bar-B-Que, 236 S. Broadview St. in Cape Girardeau.
