U.S. 62 reduced for shoulder repairs

SIKESTON, Mo. -- U.S. 62 in Mississippi and Scott Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction Monday and Tuesday, while Missouri Department of Transportation crews make shoulder repairs. The section of highway is from Interstate 55 at Sikeston to Route B at Bertrand, Mo. Weather permitting, the work will be done from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs.
