SIKESTON, Mo. -- U.S. 62/Malone Street in Scott County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews convert signals to flashing yellow lefts. This section of highway is at U.S. 62 and Pine Street and U.S. 62 and Selma Street.

Weather permitting, the work will begin at 8 p.m. Sunday and will continue to 5 a.m. Monday. If the conversion hasn't been completed in that time, the work will be finished Monday night. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
