UNIVERSITY WILL SPONSOR BLOOD DRIVE NEXT WEEK

Southeast Missouri State University and the American Red Cross will hold their three-day fall blood drive Sept. 24-26.

The drive will be held in the University Center Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The blood drive is sponsored by Delta Chi fraternity. All donors will receive refreshments provided by Domino's Pizza and Coca-Cola.

The blood supply is in very short supply, especially type O, said David Palmer with the American Red Cross. Organizers are hoping to collect at least 500 units over the three-day period.
