Southeast Missouri State University issued this press release around noon Thursday:
CAMPUS CLOSING DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. Due to inclement weather, Southeast Missouri State University is closing at 3:30 p.m. today, Jan. 31. Classes after 3:30 p.m. and all night classes will not be in session today.
In addition, classes at Southeast Missouri State University's campuses at Sikeston, Kennett and Malden, and at the Perryville Higher Education Center will dismiss at noon today, Thursday, Jan. 31, and there will be no evening classes tonight. Students will be advised later concerning the status of Friday classes.
